Create Favicon in Adobe Photoshop | A complete Guide

No doubt that Adobe Photoshop is a great GFX designing software since in few past years. The new versions of it contain great functions and they have revolutionize the GFX world and make Graphics designing more easy and simpler. We can create animations, logos, avatars, and even icons and also create favicons in Adobe photoshop. So today i tell you how we can create favicon for our site or webpage.

Requirments Before starting 

Before we start first we have to check rather your have the minimum info and other things before we start. here are these things which are require before we start create favicon

• An V 7.0 or any other cs version of adobe photoshop
• You must first have some basic knowledge of adobe photoshop software. 

Open your Adobe Photoshop to start create favicon

So first of all open up your adobe phtoshop and create a new document with the below settings.

set width and hieght of document to 32 or 16 pixels.

Note: always whenever you start creating anything first save it as psd format.

Writing your text 

Now after creating a new document zoom it to larger by pressing z button. zoom the whole document enough to become easily accessible.Now select a text tool from tool box or by pressing T button. And type your text in it. Remind that your text is not larger than 2-3 words. in mycase i type "PM". After typing select the move tool and drag the text and set it fit to whole document.

Adding style to text

Ater writing the text now time to add some style in it . For this select the bending options and give the document some styles to make it beautiful and attractive. Now if  you want to add some background in just create a new document and create your custom background or download from web if have and drag that bacground in the document and set it in in it. And you done.

Save your Favicon and enjoy

Now its time to complete work. For this save your favicon by clicking on save as option and  choose below settings:
