SEO is very essential thing for any web developer. For begginer’s and newbies I decided to create a complete tutorial on SEO. Simply SEO is divided in to two catogories. Which are:

• On page Optimization
• Off page Optimization

I decided to start a series of SEO tutorials. In which we disscuss each and every thing about SEO.

Our todays topic is On page Optimization. In this topic we disscuss On page optimization in details and also disscuss each and every thing which comes in On page optimization.

Things we have to disscuss in On page Optimization are:

• Page Title
• Use of H1 and H2 tags
• Keyword research (Use of keywords in page content)
• Use of Alt tag in images
• Use of Meta tags

Optimization of page title

Many people never give importance to page title and add ummeaningful words in their page title. But page title is very important element of the site and also for on page optimization for SEO. When search engine start crawling it first crawl the page title first. If he find that keywords in the page title then the google crawler should give more importance to your page. So below are some very important things while writing page title.

• Should not use more than 60 chracters
• Use primary keywords
• do not use unnecessary words like “and” “&” “#” etc.
• Use “|” istead of “and”.

These are the some very important things which I disscuss with you which sould be adopt while writing a page title.I hope that this tutorial will help you in making your SEO strategy more better. Next time in next chapter we disscuss :
