Many webmasters want to get top positions in search engines and for this they try to get links from other sites and apply different techniques on there site. Some techniques are good but some are bad which can penalize there site from google.

I think that now every one know about google penalties and no one go wrong in order to get penalized But mistakenly if you do anything wrong or accidentally happen a wrong technique on your site such as if you get backlink from gambling type site then google may penalize you because google said in clear words that they will penalise the gambling sites and also those sites which have backlinks from these sites, 

and you get penalized then how can you recover from them?

No problem guys don't worry because here in this post I going to tell you how to identify and recover from google penalties.

How to identify is site penalized or not?

So, before we going to know how to recover first take a look at how we can identify if our site is penalized or not. 

There are two types of penalties which are manual and algorithm penalty. both have different ways of identifications. let's see them.

Manual Penalties

Well, manual penalties are those which are manually penlaized by google team when they determine that your site is detected by google's spam algorithm. This penalty can be on the single page of your site or few or maybe a entire site is get penalized. 

We can easily identify this penalty because google send a message to you in your webmaster tools. Therefore, everyday must go to google webmaster tools and check the messages if you get from google.

Note: In severe cases your site may be completely removed from google index. To check if your site removed from google completely or not simply open the google and in the search box enter Site:yourdomain.com and hit enter button. If you see your site's index pages then you are lucky but there is nothing then you are in serious trouble.

Algorithemetic penalty:

This penalty happens naturally when google update its algorithms. Well, it is harder to detect this type of penalty because for this google will not give you any message or notifications. But we can detect it by considering some things which I discuss below.

Sudden drop in traffic from search engines

If you see a sudden drop in the search traffic then you may be penalized. And it is sure that when you see severe drop in traffic coming from search engine then you are penalized. 

Always check your analytics daily or weekly so if you penalize then you recover your site hurriedly.

Check is your site indexed?

check in the google that your site is indexed or not and also how much pages search engine index. For this go to google and type site:your domain.com and push the search button. If you see decrease in index of your site's pages then you may also penalized.

If you see nothing then it is worst that your site is completely removed and you have to a lot of work to recover it.
