If you are running a site and using adsense as a earning then the big problem you may face is that displaying the right adsense ads on your mobile version of website. Most of the users are now using the adsense responsive ads units on their mobile sites so that a correct ads would show on a mobile site.


But now google have make your big problem very easy by introducing a Adsense Page level Ads which are specifically for your mobile version of site. These ad types are now in beta stage.

What Kind of These new Page level ads are?

If you wonder that what tpes of these new page level ads are then here I am going to explain. These new experimental ads are of two types which are only for mobile sites. 

Anchor/Overlay Ads

The Anchor/Overlay ads are generally those ads which you are seeing on the most of the mobile aaps which uses the Google AdMob. These ads are very similar to the AdMob ads for mobile aaps. So these ads donot not require any more explanations.

Vignette Ads

On the other hand, the vignette Ads are the full page shown ads that are shown to the visitors when they are about to leave the site. Means that as the users tends to leave the site this ad type eventually popups and cover the whole page. Isn't cool!
This type of ad will surely boost the adsense earning from mobile sites. 

Is Page Level Ads doesn’t count towards existing three ad unit limit?

YES!! It is good that google will not count these  page level ads towards the existing three ad unit limit. Means you can consider these ads units as a bonus from Adsense.


The Adsense Page Level ads are currently in beta and you may or may not see these ads in your adsense account. If you not see these ads in your adsense account then wait soon they will be seen. But If you are seeing these Page Level Ads in your adsense account then here is how to enable these ads units in your adsense account and add then to your site.

How to Enable Adsense Page Level Ads

To enable the ads first of all login to your adsense account and then click on the My Ads tab and then look into the left sidebar. below the Ad units you will be seeing the Page Level Ads. Simply click on it.

Now you need to enable the Page level ads by simply toggling the switch as shown in the figure above. Now you have enabled the Anchor and Vignette Ads.

How to Add Adsense Page Level Ads on your site

After enabling the ads now its time to add the anchor and vignette ads on your mobile site.
For this scroll down to a section which says that the code of Page Level Ads for your pages. Now copy the provided code and then move to your site.

Unlike the other adsense ad code which you need to place where you want to display, here only you need to do is get the code and paste that code in your page's <head> section or in the start of the <body> tag. 
The code of these ads are very similar to the Google Analytics code.

How to Test the Adsense Page Level Ads on your site

Ok after adding the ad code to site now its time to test the code weather it is working fine or not. This method is not enough smooth because this new feature is in beta version so be with patience.

To test all you need to do is open you mobile browser and then open your site. Now add the " #googleads " at the end of the url to see the ads in action. Now select the ad format which you want to test, and then check the results on your site. 

Final Words

These new ads are only for mobile sites and will not display on the desktop version of site. If these ads are enabled in your account then must take advantage of them. And if they are not enabled then wait for sometime until they enabled :p
